With Juniors, it is all about the love!

2019 is full of opportunities for service. Our January focus was Books Across St. Petersburg and we partnered with the GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club to distribute over 3,500 books. We created Little Libraries for the young and old with new libraries going in at Family Promise and the Sunshine Center and we passed out books to children at the MLK Day Parade.

February is a short month but it is full of opportunities for you to serve in your community. If you are interested in participating in any of our projects, please email info@spjwc.org and our membership chair will reach out to you.

Here is a glimpse of what we have planned for February:
2/5 – 6:30pm social and 7:00pm business meeting at the Sunshine Center – 330 Fifth Street North
2/9 – we will be throwing a Superhero party for Guardian Ad Litem children – contact the club for details
2/12 – we will be throwing a Valentine’s Day party for the children at Sallie House – contact the club for details
2/23 – we will volunteer at the Southeastern Guide Dog Walk at the Vinoy Park, volunteer slots start as early as 6:00am for you early birds and as late as 9am for those of you who like to ease into their Saturday.
2/24 – we will meet at Thirsty First at 11:30 for brunch. Come check out their “Southern Living” Captain Crunch Waffles!
2/27- we will host the District 14 Arts and Crafts Festival at the GFWC St. Petersburg Woman’s Club.
